At dawn, on 21st of january of 1942, Novi Sad was awaken with hundreds of signbeards stating that the Raid has begun.
To allege his loyality to Hitler, hungarian fascistic leader Mikloš Horti started this flagrant raid with a final purpose of expurgation of all jews, jew sympathizers and alike, and the remnants of Šajkaš partisan squad that was supposed to be hiding somewhere in Novi Sad.
Terrible killings occured.
On the first day of the raid, 240 patrols searched the town, ransacking and taking the people to the banks of Danube where they were shot.
On the second day, the killings continued. Even on the streets and in the people's backyards.
On the third day, when the temperature had droped 30 degrees of celsius bellow zero, people were thrown alive under the thick ice surface of the frozen Danube, left to drown in the cold water...

One street of Novi Sad, that flows by the Danube, is called: Quay of the Victims of the Raid, and there's a list of names, a list of more than 1300 names carved in marble, along with this statue, to remind us, of the horrible, monstrous crime that had occured, and how demented, awfull and cruel can human beings be...

I ask you: What's the purpose of the war anyway?
To preserve freedom? To protect the peace?

The peace is not protected by war, it is protected by peace.
And freedom, without a peace is nothing...

I'm sick and tired of "Call to war" and "Fight for the right cause", to hell with all that.
Life's to short to be vasted on sh1t like wars and terrorism...

I call to peace.
